Projects overview

In the past ten years, I have worked on many different projects, projects ranging from street art, music, literature, cultural advocates and multidisciplinary co-productions. My work delved into coordination, managing, curating, or in very specific roles for some projects, i.e: fundraising, schedule management and logistics, financial administration, PR and media alongside many other roles that I adopted throughout my career. Below, I list a selection of the main projects I have been working on in the past 10 years.

2013 - Present

Baladk Street & Urban Arts Project.

An international mural festival in Amman - Jordan under the organization of Al Balad Theater and curated by Muath Isied from 2016 until 2022.

2021 - 2022

The World Reversed.

A project which aims to promote community participation through creative workshops, targeting different community groups including women, children and youth, in rural Jerusalem coordinated by Riwaq Palestine and curated by Muath Isied.

2019 - 2021

E-sounds of Silence

A project that brings musicians from Amman and Mannheim together to investigate the sound of our e-mobile future curated by Muath Isied and Tanja Krone.

2013 - 2019

Al Balad Music Festival

The Al Balad Music Festival is held every two years in the Balad, Amman‘s traditional downtown area, since 2009. It seeks to contribute to the country’s music scene by showcasing artists from all across the area, promoting a cultural interchange between various Arab countries. I worked as program's manager for the festival until 2021.

2013 - 2021

Hakaya Storytelling Festival

Hakaya is a cultural festival that connects organizations and individuals that believe in the importance of stories and their influence on others. Having various storytellers from various background will help weave their different threads of stories into the various streets of Jordan. I worked for the festival in varying positions throughout the years, from Program management to finance and logistics and locations coordinator.

2021

The Amman Berlin Project

Twelve Musicians from Jordan and Germany came together to create sounds from two different parts of the WORLD: "E-sound" is the sound of silence, the sound of change... and it plays around different cultural influences, experiences and socialization. In sounds they'll bring these influences together to create something new. Co curated and co-produced the project with the Tanja Krone.

2016-2021

Home Arts Home Coming.

Resilience is not just an individual endeavour as we also seek to foster ‘community resilience’ which is achieved through developing cohesiveness within a set community and stitching the fabric of that community. In brief, this ability to thrive refers to people's capacity to feel safe, commit to a group and belong, develop their learning, cope with difficult feelings, help others, develop self-understanding and foster a sense of identity. All of these aspects can be addressed through arts.
