Who Am I:

I am a writer, photographer, and cultural activist. I grew up between different forms of work.

Part of my early life was spent in vegetable market in southern Amman, Jordan - where my father ran a banana ripening facility. There, I learned to be physical, fast, and relational. That environment continues to shape how I understand organisation, negotiation, and presence in space.

I entered cultural work through proximity and friendships that gradually became long-term collaborations. For nearly a decade, I worked within a cultural organisation in Amman, Jordan, moving between communications, coordination, programme management, and artistic production. At times, I found myself curating projects before fully understanding what that role meant, while navigating the practical and political realities of producing work in public space.

I currently live in Basel and work in Zurich as Programme Manager Levant at Drosos Foundation.
